  4. To compress files drag them onto the icon
  5. To decompress files, make sure they are set
  6. to filetype FA0 and then drag them onto the
  7. icon
  8.  
  9. This is intended as a programmer's tool and
  10. therefore does not have a jazzy front end.
  11. Consider yourself lucky - the previous 
  12. version had a naff algorithm and it didn't
  13. claim memory from the RMA.  I haven't got
  14. time to do front ends and stuff 'cos I'm
  15. still at school (upper 6th 94/95).

  17. If anyone wants to put a jazzy front end on
  18. please do so, and you don't need to consult
  19. me about it.

  21. The compression/expansion sourcecode is PD
  22. (as is this program) and you can find it
  23. inside the application directory.

  25. NB - digitised or dithered images will not 
  26. give particularly good results.

  28. Watch out for Grandslam from Solar Flare
  29. (which incidentally uses this compression
  30. /expansion routine)
